A Random Pet Peeve
I think I'm a little more sensitive right now to strangers comments due to the fact that I am very hormonal at the moment! I had a guy approach me today at my store and tell me that my work is where I shouldn't be and he hoped I wouldn't be in "retail" for the rest of my life. I told him I'm happy where I'm at and life isn't so bad in retail. Anyways, I've had this happen before.....quite a few times! I don't know where strange people get off being so bold, but it really bothers me that they can tell me what I should and shouldn't be doing with my life. I make fairly decent money, have full benefits, and I make my own schedules. Sure customers can be real jerks sometimes, especially those who have never worked a customer service job before, but I'm ok with not having a college degree that would probably make as much or even less than I do now.

AMEN sister!! I'm totally with you on that one!! retail and customer service have totally changed the way I am around complete strangers thanks to all of those bold and rude people. Hang in there :)
That sucks! I can't believe someone would say that. And I can't believe it has happened to you a few times. People need to mind their own business, I don't think that's you being hormonal, that's just RUDE!
I would say that it doesn't matter what people think, and that is true, it really doesn't in the grand scheme. But what I've found is that since I think that, I've offended my very family, unknowingly and unintentionally. Bummer. We can't please everyone and they think their opinion always matters. It is so hard to please everyone with their expectations of us (that we don't even know about!). There is love.;-)
I'll take that offer Gladly :) Now I hope u have a boy. Our doctor is only 80% sure were having a girl we will find out for sure on May 26th!! Well i hope your having an easy pregnancy.
