One of my favorite parts of our trip was The Statue of Liberty. It was really neat to see it in person and up close. Ellis Island was a building full of history. I would have liked to have paid for attention to the history of Ellis Island, but there wasn't much to do there for a 2 year old. I spent most of the time keeping her quiet so other people could listen to the history. If you notice the Ellis Island page, right underneath the journaling is Panguitch on an old map of the U.S. Elliot made me take that picture because he was so proud of his hometown being on a map from the early to mid 1900's (Cedar City isn't even on there yet). I decided to use it as my background so he could always remember this proud moment.

I loved the statue of Liberty, too, but we didn't ever make it to Ellis Island. We took Savannah when she was 14 months, so I understand about not having a lot for a baby/toddler to do there! But the pictures are fabulous. One thing that we loved after we visited NYC was after we could recognize it in so many movies/TV Shows. We're like, "Oh yeah, we've been there!" Keep it up, your pics/pages look so awesome!
